Membership

The Leicestershire Golf Club welcome applications for membership of the club. We have thriving Junior,Under 35's, Ladies, and Mens sections all of which have a few vacancies. In order to apply for membership, the normal requirement is that two existing members of the club, who have known the applicant for at least 5 years, are willing to act as sponsors of the applicant. Sponsors have an important role to fulfill in ensuring that the applicant is fully aware of the high standards expected of members of the Leicestershire Golf Club.

As an alternative for those who do not know two current members, we offer a one year temporary membership providing all the benefits of permanent membership for twelve months. At the end of the probationary period, the applicant’s request for renewal of membership will be considered by the Committee and if suitable, he or she will be allowed to become a full member without the usual introduction from existing members.
