As long ago as 1948, The Leicestershire Golf Club established a long tradition of excellence in catering and service. Respective Stewards and Stewardesses from Mr. & Mrs. A. Collyer (1948 - 1976) and Mr. & Mrs. S. Riley (1976 - 2015) to Catering Manager Gaynor Adcock (1986 - 2018) set very high standards which were recognised not only by members but by visitors from the county and beyond.
Today, the challenge of maintaining those high standards of excellence in catering and service are being met by our experienced chef along with our Front of House and Bar Supervisor. Their team of staff are committed to providing you with a super dining experience from bar snacks to three course meals. All of this can be enjoyed with great panoramic views of the course.
We welcome individual visitors and societies. A daily specials board, with a nice variety of dishes and prices, combined with a menu with different choices, will ensure your taste buds are well satisfied. And don’t miss the yummy cakes available at the bar! Good quality beers, spirits and an extensive wine list will add to your enjoyment in an inviting and relaxed atmosphere.
Formal dining is available in our MacKenzie room or for a more intimate dining experience you can use the smaller Braid room. We are always delighted when we receive repeat bookings which are testament to the importance we put on ensuring all our members and visitors go away from the club satisfied they have been well catered for and well looked after.
We offer many options for your perfect party or celebration. Whether you are celebrating a Christening, a special Birthday or a Wedding Anniversary we can cater for all your needs. We enjoy making your special occasion as memorable as possible with personalised menus you have finalised with our chefs.
